This drink is a timeless classic and it's one of the most popular daiquiris. What I like about the drink is that the flavor is very subtle. This drink was born in Cuba and is maybe why it's so hot. The original daiquiri was prepared by mixing white rum and lemon juice.

This is a drink I always recommend to my girl friends because it's subtle and beautiful like them. This is perfect for small gatherings or summer parties. Nothing better than to share a drink with the one you love and care about. That can be the very special touch for a very special evening.
The classic version of the daiquiri became famous in 1913 and with its popularity came tons of versions for it. The most popular versions are the Floridita Daiquiri, the Strawberry Daiquiri, and the Hemingway Daiquiri.
Whenever I prepare it I use my blender to make the mix smoother and even. Now I share this sweet, sweet recipe.
How to prepare it?
Ingredients:
- Crushed ice
- 15 ml of strawberry liquor
- 45 ml of white rum
- 15 ml of lemon juice
- 7 strawberries
Preparation:
1. Pour the rum and then the strawberry liquor, the lemon juice, the 6 strawberries and the crushed ice in the blender.
2. Blend for about two minutes or until you see an even liquid.
3. After it's ready, serve the drink in a glass or a cup.
4. Decorate with some extra strawberries and a cute straw.
