Even if these canyons are amazingly beautiful, they might be a little dangerous. So they are not recommended for average tourists. In 1997 a flash flood swept into Lower Antelope Canyon and killed 12 hikers.

Lake Powell has a breathtaking and welcoming environment. The lake is the perfect place for every traveler looking for spots for relaxation and camping and deeper waters for boating, tubing, and jet skiing. Lake Powell is also a gateway to many world-famous attractions such as Rainbow Bridge in Utah.

Did you know that Antelope Canyon is really a "slot" canyon? This means that this natural wonder is a narrow chasm from erosions in sandstone. Years of water and sand has rounded the edges to form curves and flowing shapes in the rock. Photographers love the beauty and unique shapes and lighting conditions of the canyons.

If you are looking for camping options, Page offers many places to help you fulfill your outdoorsy desires.

Things to do in Page:

Go visit the Lower Antelope Canyon and enjoy the marvelous colors that nature will bring to your eyes. We are sure that this will be a life-changing experience and will leave you with a lot of pictures to remember the special moments you will experience here. Just remember to be extra careful while you discover this fascinating place. There are both sightseeing and photography tours, and you can pick the one that suits you the most. Be prepared and come with bottled water, sunscreen, the right clothes, and hats.

Visit the impressive Rainbow Bridge National Monument. You need to take a tour and cruise 50 miles of the beautiful Lake Powell shoreline to get to the Rainbow Bridge. This is one of the largest natural bridges in the world. You will love to see how nature is so powerful and can create amazing constructions just from stone and erosion. Be prepared with your camera because the boat ride will give you impressive views.

Go to the Horseshoe Bend to get close to another magnificent natural structure. You can see it from the river, from the air, and you can even go inside the canyon to get a closer look at this wonder.
